The Smith & Wesson Model 22A-1 is a single-action, blowback-operated .22 LR rimfire semi-automatic pistol designed primarily for target practice, recreational plinking, and training. As a revised variant of the original Model 22A, it features a lightweight aluminum alloy frame paired with a steel slide and a steel barrel cloaked in an alloy shroud to optimize balance and reduce overall weight.

Exceptional Accuracy: Rivaling pistols multiple times its price point.Excellent Trigger: Light, smooth, and crisp with a short take-up.Integrated Rail: Features a full-length Weaver-style rail for easy optics mounting.Unique Mag Release: Located on the front strap of the grip for rapid deployment.

Action Type: Single-Action Only (SAO) semi-automatic.

Caliber: .22 Long Rifle (.22 LR).

Capacity: 10+1 rounds (magazines include a convenient side-loading thumb knob).

Barrel Options: Produced in 4-inch, 5.5-inch, and 7-inch lengths.

Optics Mounting: A distinct, full-length Weaver-style top rail is integrated directly into the barrel assembly, making it incredibly easy to mount red dot sights or scopes.

Sights: Out-of-the-box target configuration featuring a fixed Patridge front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight.

Trigger Pull: Crisp break coming in around 3.5 lbs.
